CORRECTIONS

October 17, 2001, FTW - We would like to correct two minor errors from previous stories.

In our story from the September 18 issue entitled Osama bin LadenпїЅs Bush Family Business Connections we reported that Texas investment banker James Bath received investments in the 1970s from Osama bin LadenпїЅs father. This is incorrect. The investments were placed, in fact, by bin LadenпїЅs brother, Salem. Salem was killed in a plane crash in 1988.

In our story on Insider Trading linked to Deutschebank/A.B. Brown we incorrectly quoted a report from the Israeli Herzliyya International Policy Institute for Counter Terrorism. Instead of writing that Merrill, Lynch and Company occupied 22 floors of the World Trade Center, we should have written "Merrill, Lynch & Co., with headquarters near the Twin Towers."

Both corrections have been made to the stories on our web site.
